Will Work for Revolution

RISD Museum, Third Thursday, 2019
Providence, Rhode Island

An improvisational collaboration with musician and ethnomusicologist, Sebastian Otero, (Brown University B.A 19, Ethnomusicology + Latin American & Caribbean Studies).
This is part of a larger performance with Steph Foster (MFA '19, Photography) and Armando Zamora (MFA 19, Photography), using a series of music, rhythm and storytelling to explore the intimate specifics of confronting memory and lineage as artists of color.

Revive

RISD Graduate Digital Media Department Exhibition, 2017
RISD Graduate Sol Koffler Gallery
Providence, Rhode Island

Revive is a collaborative performance with Yu Ting (Xena) Huang (MFA Digital Media 19). Programmed by Xena Huang, the Myo Armband used the electrical activity in my muscles to create a scale of digitally altered sound. Improvisational acoustic violin was performed in response to digital sound, and digital sound was produced in response to physical movement of violin performance. The video projected in the background was shot and produced by Xena.

String of Cosmos is a video mapping installation with live performance. Designed and installed by Zeyu Res (MFA Digital Media 19), he shows the connection between music and the universe using technology and live musical performance.
